Always create one landscape concept sheet on warm white paper with subtle paper grain.
The sheet must contain exactly four distinct explorations in one image, arranged as a clean 2x2 layout or balanced four-zone layout.
Number the explorations 1, 2, 3, and 4 with rough circled numbers, arrows, and short handwritten strategy notes.
Use rough graphite pencil and heavy black pencil/marker-style emphasis. Keep the work at concept-sketch stage.
Use thick, confident outside contours, visible construction lines, under-sketch marks, and high contrast black shading.
Do not create polished vector output, glossy rendering, photorealism, gradients, color fills, or finished production art.
Use references only as style language, feature vocabulary, line-weight guidance, palette notes, or anatomy guidance. Do not copy exact poses, compositions, characters, lettering, or proprietary details.
Keep the concepts brand-readable at small sizes with simple silhouettes and clear shape hierarchy.
Avoid generic AI tells: melted linework, extra limbs, inconsistent digits, tiny heads where oversized mascot rules apply, random accessories, and over-detailed texture.
Never place icons, logos, badges, name patches, lettered patches, embroidered name tags, or branded stickers on the character or its clothing. Keep apparel clean so the brand can be applied later in production.
Animal mascots use exactly four fingers on every visible hand or paw — classic cartoon-mascot count, not species-realistic.
Never draw three-finger, five-finger, fused, or missing-finger animal hands. Four is the rule.
Use a large expressive head, but let the body-to-head ratio follow the animal species instead of the strict humanoid 50% rule.
Eyes, eyebrows, muzzle, ears, and body shapes should be simple, repeatable, and easy to redraw.
